Okay so its an arbitrary measure, but still an interesting one as to who is interested in what. Especially since most of the views must be Google driven. Excluding the potteries that have more than one potter within them - Leach,Aldermaston, Rye, Briglin etc. The 10,000 views or more on 14/5/20.

ALAN WALLWORK 13,920.
GUY SYDENHAM. 12,533
ERIC LEAPER 11534.
(There are a substantial number that are just over the 10,000. So the following I have not placed in order)
RUTHANNE TUDBALL 10,034
ROBIN WELCH 10289
LOUIS HUDSON 10022
BRYAN NEWMAN ALLER 10025
POWELL & LLANGOLLEN 10716
PETER DICK COXWOLD. 10102
BILL FISHER 10081
LEONARD STOCKLEY 10001
STEFAN GORSKI 10,001
BERNARD ROOKE 10,648
BOB DAWE 10,000
SAM HALL 10,030
TONY MORRIS 10009
CARN 10,032
CLIVE BROOKER 9,999

There are a number just hovering around 10,000.I don't know if that is a statistical quirk.
Some interesting points. What might term 'the school of Alan Wallwork' has a great deal of interest. Alan Wallwork, Bob Dawe, Louis Hudson, Bernard Rooke all over 10,000 views.
The interest in Cornish based potters/potteries. Carn, Sam Hall. Eric Leaper... and of course the potteries not included in these figures Leach St Ives,Celtic, Troika all with large numbers of views.
Some names you would not expect to have to so much attention. Ruthanne Tudball, Leonard Stockley, Peter Dick, Bryan Newman, Stefan Gorski, Clive Brooker.
Alan Wallwork is still the most popular potter.....Of Course.

So I wonder how much traffic is driven by volume of production. Many of the above are very touristy, if that's a word with big productions or long careers. Saying that some surprise me.

It's an interesting list and I know that never in a million years would I have guessed the names or come anywhere near it.

Also I am not sure how to explain it. Having said that, the top three are not unsurprising.

I wonder why Stefan Gorski is there? Only 5 posts and someone that I would say that I had never heard of.

People probably google the actor or musician and find their way here by mistake

Maybe it says as much about the members of the forum as it does about the potters.
