Stoneware Bowl with X mark Empty Stoneware Bowl with X mark

I’d be very grateful if anyone can identify the maker of this half-glazed bowl.  It is height 6cm, diameter 14.
The mark appears to be a X; I wondered if it was maybe Doug Alexander, or perhaps John Bedding at Cross Pottery? Very many thanks.
