I'd be gobsmacked if the "Expert" meant THE St. Ives pottery!

Yes it does doesn't it. The design looks like it was applied with a fat marker pen....but yes, the Antiques Roadshow guy said the mark was St Ives.

Its a nice goblet. But the Antiques Roadshow person was no expert! In fact one wonders if they knew anything about pottery whatsoever. This absolutely nothing like the work of the Bernard Leach St Ives pottery, nor anything like any of the smaller potteries or potters that worked in St Ives.

It looks similar to some of the Vallauris wares
