Bitossi is possible; there were some unusual designs that were exported to the US which we don’t see in Europe

I found the same "Italy" mark on a few pieces that are Bitossi. Thanks for your info!

If this is a Bitossi, approximately what date would this have been made?

Around the 60s-70s - The Mid Century Modern era of ceramics. Fratelli Fanciullacci (often referred to as FF) is also a possibility.

Thank you. I have been looking up e everything I can on FF and B Seta. I'm so glad I got this. This was in an old Mansion that was to be torn down. The new owners listed the contents for sale for 1 day. You could tell the home was once a grand place but was left to rot. Sad shame.

Re: Bowl? Vase? - Italian
I contacted the Bitossi Ceramiche to help with my vase. Thanks for all your input and I love this site!
Response:
The beautiful pottery you send me, is very similar to the Bitossi production but I'm not sure, it has a stencil that I've never seen before and even the brown glaze is very dark. It also doesn't have a numbering at the bottom, so it's even more difficult to find information. It is certainly a form of the early 60s, produced by a Tuscan manufacture for sure.
