Rod Farry, Staindrop in County Durham, Potting in the 1980s

Found a news article about him from 1989. Self taught potter.

Rod Farry of Staindrop Pottery, self taught and as well as handthrown work he builds pots by a variety of other methods. He enjoys working to commission and prefers to make one-off pieces rather than a repetitive production run. However, he has to concentrate on that area as manufacturing costs are lower and the lower prices attract more customers.
