Large pot for ID Empty Large pot for ID

A large pot for ID. Hand painted signature mark ACH and what I presume to be the date made - 97.
Similar in many ways to some Poole freeform pieces we own, but I do not believe it is from Poole pottery.

Thanks for your thoughts Naomi I think you're probably right, I cannot find the mark in the old book and I originally purchased it along with several pieces, some of which were definitely not British.
