Its not a teapot, its a coffee pot. Probably from the 60's/70's when the idea of coffee was a jug of Instant Nescafe... Is that an HP mark? Just Possibly Haverfordwest pottery from the early 60's.

There was a time when you could tell the function by the form, but now the lines are blurred. I would call this a chocolate pot.

Unfortunately we Brits do not have your Southern sophistication. :rofl
We would probably still fill it with Nescafe.....or maybe Cocoa.

Teapots draw from the base and coffee pots from the top.

Hmm this could run and run.
Portmeirion for example, "Seriph" shaped teapots and coffee pots, both poured from the top.
while the "Cylinder" shaped teapots and coffee pots, both poured from the bottom.

I have seen this two-tone pottery before. I have a feeling it's WP.
Re: Coffee pot, WP mark - Probably Wilan Pottery, Wales
The two-tone colours very much remind me of Weston Mill pottery, which operates (or used to, it may no longer be a going concern) out of the old egg-packing factory - itself a former Trent-side warehouse - on Millgate in Newark, Notts.
This Weston Mill Pottery is not to be confused with a pottery of the same name in Sutton-on-Trent, just outside of Newark, which I don't think has any connection.

If it’s WP then it might be Wilan Pottery; also known as Anvil Pottery
