Hello, I have this salt and pepper shaker set which look quite old but I'm not sure of what era or possible maker. Any ideas? Many thanks,

Agreed, they look early. I came across that shape looking for 18thC mustard pots; it’s a pear shape, but I didn’t see any with that design. They looks like feldspathic stoneware. Maybe early 19thC

If they're early 19thC. would they both be pepper pots? I thought that back then salt was spooned from bowls as the crystals weren't the uniformally small granules we get today as table salt, but instead were more like the larger flakes we get from grinding, which wouldn't pass through such small holes as in the pots in the photos.

They may be contemporary with Castleford feldspathic stoneware
