Yellow Ochre Dish - Matt Grimmitt?
Hallo, I hope you're all well.
This dish (approx 7" square) caught my eye because I'm a 'soft touch' for anything in yellow ochre. Although there are no obvious marks, when I first saw it I immediately thought of Matt Grimmitt (I have a wonderful jug in a similar colour).
Can anyone please help me to identify this piece?
Thank you.
Jack

I’m not very familiar with Matt Grimmitt’s work but the base reminds me of some recent work by Andy Mason

The bottom looks a bit scruffy for Matt Grimett's work.

Naomi/philpot, I apologise for the tardy response...I've been a little distracted.
Thank you for your comments regarding this dish. I agree with the 'scruffiness of the base, Matt Grimmitt's marks are generally very clear. I will look at some of Andy Mason's work to see whether I can spot any similarities to my dish.
Kind regards
