ID for Art Nouveau style incised decoration vase
Hi Everyone
I picked up this the other day and hope someone knows a bit more than I do! I think it has some age (1900-1930?) and is possibly continental (Dutch or Bohemian would be my guess). It has an incised/carved in floral pattern on a glaze of dark teal. It is 26 cm/10 inches in height. No markings, save for B21, presumably a model number. Any clues at all will be gratefully received!

Re: ID for Art Nouveau style incised decoration vase
Doesn't seem to be ringing any bells with anyone so let me ask a question.
Do you think the style and technique of the vase point to it being from a particular place or period or is it more generic than that?

Re: ID for Art Nouveau style incised decoration vase
A relatively modern Asian import, imo. They’ve been using Western letters and numbers which can be confused for potters’ Marks

it'strue the rim and the clay colour look like some vietnamese stuff from the 60's
Re: ID for Art Nouveau style incised decoration vase
If it was French or Belgium I’d expect the clay to be white, or at least a different colour to that sage green

I think you both may be onto something as I've found this...
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/733307921/vintage-vase-dona-artexport-pottery?show_sold_out_detail=1&ref=nla_listing_details
..which does share some similarities with my vase. I think I'm okay to post the link as the item is sold.
Anyway thanks both...I knew nothing about Vietnamese ceramics, funny the paths you get thrown down!
