P mark on antique porcelain Empty P mark on antique porcelain

Hoping someone can ID this mark please. An impressed "P" (looks like there may be something coming off the side of the P, but might just be my eyes) which is to the base of the saucer, the cup is unmarked.
I'm not so sure this is English. It has age. Possibly French?
Any help here welcomed, thanks 👍

It could be Pinxton china, Derbyshire.
