it must have been difficult to set up as a potter after your time at Dartington, those glazes were stunning

It's not just the glazes, it's the controlled reduction firing of the kiln. I've worked at Jingdezhen in China, where the kiln firing is rapid and at a higher temperature. I've used John Britt's book of high fire glazes. I am hoping to work with a more sympathetic kiln in Melbourne.
