I wonder about LAURENCE MCGOWAN. His mark on https://www.themarksproject.org/marks/mcgowan has some similarities, but it's drawn or brushed on, not stamped. And his bird pieces have some similarities, I thought.

Lawrence Mcgowan does not use an impressed mark. They are all painted, usually with a year mark. They all have similarities because they all trained at Aldermaston pottery under Alan Caiger Smith. The style of this piece is very similar to decoration used at Aldermaston. There are literally dozens of Aldermaston influenced potters. It ran for 30 years with often up to 8 potters working there at one time.
The bar H actually looks very similar to the mark used by Honor Hussey, another British potter. But the second mark does not look like one she used.
It is definitely not Henry Hammond.
