Mason's Promotional Wares for Ringtons
In the 1990s Mason's produced promotional pieces for Ringtons, the tea company, most of which is blue and white.
I'm assuming they were advertised as limited editions and sold via some kind of 'cash + proofs of purchase' of so much Ringtons tea.
I've somehow managed to acquire a couple of pieces over the years, probably in job-lots from auctions. One is an octagonal bowl featuring bridges in and around Newcastle if memory serves, but that one is still in the loft. The other piece is this plate, titled The Decorative Jug Collection, featuring what I assume are images of Mason's jugs.
The photos aren't out of focus, the transfer print is really as blurred as it looks.
