A small white lidded pot with f mark - Alex Hunter
This little circular pot with a domed lid is about 9.5cms in diameter. It's made in a thick, white-ish stoneware (or possibly a slightly rough-textured porcelain), with a light-coloured celadon-type glaze. The mark in blue ink on the base looks like a capital L or a number 2 crossed by two parallel oblique lines.
Other than thinking it looks a bit Scandinavian, I don't have a clue. Grateful for any ideas.

It's a popular shape amongst studio potters. I think its contemporary but I don't recognise the mark.

Discovered it's by Alex Hunter, potting in the early 2000s. He was in the 2001 Ceramic Review and exhibited in Fareham in 2003 but then dropped out of sight.
