A tiny 5" vase with the number 9 on the base Empty A tiny 5" vase with the number 9 on the base

I've had this vase since the early seventies and I have no idea about it's origins. I was once told the mark could be French. There is also a less obvious impressed letter C as well as a blue number 9 on the base. I will be grateful for any evidence you can steer me towards. I think it’s from the Far East, or possibly India

Mainly the clay and glaze combination; the green and underglaze blue is quite distinctive, but also the glazed base
