Small Green stoneware Vase Empty Small Green stoneware Vase

2” tall, looks thrown - distinct rings inside - but can’t be certain.
I think it’s stoneware and dint think it’s a mark on the base.
Celadon glaze?
Chinese? Scandinavian? British?
Old? Antique?
Clutching at straws a bit but it’s a well made little thing.

The glaze and foot rim look typical of pottery from Vietnam & Bali imo.

So would that be hand thrown or moulded?

Hand thrown and hand carved (fluted). But compare the carving with a David Leach and it’s not all that well done

I’ve seen some lovely fluted pieces by David Leach recently - they really were stunning. Thanks Naomi, I need to go for quality when I see it.
