Sgraffito ware, dw mark - Derrek Waller Empty Sgraffito ware, dw mark - Derrek Waller

A heavily incised 'dove of peace' design on this stoneware plate/charger. Incised initials on reverse 'JW' or 'DW' ? Plate is 11" diameter and 1" deep. Any ideas of maker ? Thanks

Thanks Naomi. Don't think that it's a 'GW' or 'gw', looks like 'dw.' But still can't find it. Pity, 'cos it's nicely done. Cheers

Agreed. I found one with Gordon Whittle’s incised GW mark and it wasn’t the same so I’d deleted my comment.
