What is this odd bottle ??
I found this unusual bottle today thrifting around. It came with a cork in the top. It's light amber, glows a bit under UV light, has seams that do not go through the top lip, and has this large, slightly bumpy indentation coming up from the bottom. Someone thought it looked like an old fly or wasp trap, but no holes in the bottom. Sorry for my fingers in the shot, but it's about 4 1/2 inches tall and fairly thick walled for its size. I'd love to know what it is and about how old. Thanks!

Do you think they might stack, one on top of another?
The proportions look right.

It could be an unfinished fly trap that left the factory by mistake.

I'm sure I've seen these in IKEA and general stores. I think they are made that way for stacking but you can use them for anything. Probably made in China.

Thanks everyone. I found on ETSY a very similar bottle, described as "stackable vintage apothecary orange jar bottle- Mid-century European". I'll see if I can find some references on apothecary bottles.
