A nicely made pot standing about 4.5" tall, it has a basic mark to the base "C". Suppose it could be a few potters but nearest i could find was Joanna Constantinidis.
Any better ideas?
Thanks in advanceClare Sutcliffe Consta11

Clare Sutcliffe. She was a pupil of Micael Cardew's at Wenford Bridge, and worked in the cardew/leach tradition. She died a couple of years ago and there was a studio sale of her work at Ewbanks auctioneers if I remember rightly.

You even get a photograph of her on this site!

This is Clare on the right outside the Harlequin Gallery in September 2000 standing next to the "pop star", Ian Gregory.

Just to add that she wood-fired and her kiln was designed/built with the help of Michael OBrien.

It has a lovely blue tint in the glaze that is very reminiscent of OBrien’s work (Michael and Anthony)

Most of Michael's ceramic making over the years seems to have been test pieces with different glaze mixes for potteries that he helped set up both here and in Nigeria.
