Small green teapot G S
My latest charity shop find. The nearest I can find in BSPM is someone called Gerald Senior b 1923 working in Meopham, Kent. But seems he mostly made large stoneware planters. Any ideas? 10.8cm (height)
Re: Geoffrey Small, GS mark (not Gerald Senior)
Agreed, although the other possibly is Geoffrey Small, Luton, Beds. 1970s

By Geoffrey Small or Gerald Senior - I think it’s the latter but often attributed to the former.

The Marks book says the GS stamp is for Gerald Senior, but it is often attributed to Geoffrey Small
A set by Geoffrey Small with a label but unfortunately not stamped (The teapot is very similar to the green one with the GS stamp at the top of the thread) :-

Do you have a photo of it?

Hi, I apologise but the 3rd pic I had has been deleted and is not recoverable. It showed the 2 letters on the side of the lower rim, just above to base, the view was at a very steep angle. One was unreadable, the second was clearly an S, both impressed separately. Having seen other examples online I'm sure they were a G & S.

Cheers
I've merged it with the Geoffrey Small thread because I'm pretty sure they are not by Gerald Senior
