Mystery Lamp Marked Italy Empty Mystery Lamp Marked Italy

Could anyone help me please. I bought this lamp from an antique centre in York that was described as Paul Smith Lamp. Its hand painted ceramic and has a metal cap.The sticker was on the lamp but i didnt pay this. Can anyone shed some light on the maker of this please, and why the reference to Paul Smith. Thanks
