I would guess it's a hobby potter's homage to an established potter

Looks like the sort of clay used for low temperature raku firing. The bowl appears to have a seam implying it was formed in a mould, and the trees added by hand afterwards. Not a style I’ve come across before; most of the well known potters making bowls with trees, throw porcelain or stoneware clay on a wheel and then carve out the trees. It might be by a local potter; worth asking the potters group or association covering that area if there is one. But I agree that a hobby potter is most likely
