heavy stoneware pot
Hi - I hate to concede defeat but as a novice with ceramics I've gone through hundreds of pottery marks trying to identify these two items.
Any ideas out there? Thank you!
1. Heavy 13cm high stoneware(?) pot with a rough glazed finish and a circular pottery mark in the centre of the base. Dark brown at the top with splashes of blue dripping down over sepia/dark mustard colour below.
2. Conical shape jug 11cm high, greyish colour with blue/white decoration and a pottery mark to the bottom of the handle (looks like a pear!)
