Well made stoneware 3” Vase.
Is the MN mark along with the number more likely to be a glaze test mark or the maker’s mark.?

Was it a job lot of pots? If so it may be the same hobby potter who incised the ‘VW’ mark

Not sure if this is relevant, Ben, but Mn is the chemical symbol for the element manganese.

The mark may be the S mark faintly written underneath
