JS or JF mark? Identify this US maker's mark? Empty JS or JF mark? Identify this US maker's mark?

There are several bowls - MCM style?  Not sure if an independent potter, but I've never seen this mark.  Pieces are numbered after the mark 18, 45, ...

JS or JF maybe, but I'm afraid I'm not very familiar with US marks. You might find the mark on The Marks Project website. Helps to have photos of the rest of the pot
