Ashtray With Faint Makers Mark ID Help Empty Ashtray With Faint Makers Mark ID Help

Hello, this piece has a very faint mark on the base which I can't make out. Appears to be 2 lines of text with the bottom one looking a bit like ADALE OR ADALS. Any ideas much appreciated.
