obviously, an accomplished potter and we don't recognise the mark so I doubt it is British

we had English Monarchs ruling in Europe and Monarchs of Europe ruling in England, so I would expect crown designs would have crossed borders perhaps

I don't suppose it could be a variation on Steve Harrison's crown stamp? The bowl certainly ties in with his medieval-styled tankards.
