Quite a while ago I came across a very interesting bowl.
I was not sure who made and decorated this bowl and the signature.
After posting on here and the advise given, I contacted the pottery and was informed of the history etc of the piece from the potter.
Seems it is quite a rare piece.

It now sits in the dining room as intended in daily use

it's a such a nice looking piece, seems a shame to cover the decoration with fruit! I suppose a "functional" piece is supposed to " function" so ENJOY!!

It does encourage you to eat the fruit to reveal the design ( so is a healthy piece )
