Slip-decorated , yellow on brown marked "H"? Empty Slip-decorated , yellow on brown marked "H"?

I picked up this set of cups/ jug/ bowl.
The mark seems to be like an 'H' - but having looked at several there are some frilly bits so I wondered if it is actually an animal (horse/ dog) stylised, or a castle gate?
I've attached a few pictures of the marks.

Have just realised I have done the unforgivable and not photographed the base - will open the box and add a picture in a bit.
