My Dad has asked me for some help identifying this apothecary jar/pot. I don't have pictures from the bottom of the pot (and the inside of the lid) but I do know there are no marks on either of these.

Anyone any ideas?

A base image would really help with determining age but it looks European, late 19th century and made as a decorative item rather than for use.
