Small ash glaze jar, not Batterham? Empty Small ash glaze jar, not Batterham?

What do you think on this one I picked up?
Stoneware, Ash glaze. 4.5” tall.
Looks like Batterham but is it someone in his style?
Also I can’t see this shape when I google his jars.

Nice piece. Bit I think you are right, Not Batterham. The top finial looks somewhat awkward, the gritty surface under that top glazing is not quite right, and the base looks like it has been wire cut, and that is not a Batterham base.

Thanks Phil. I think it was you who said Batterham pots should sing to you and it’s nice but it’s not singing.
