The base suggests that it is factory made and made fairly recently.

I would agree. As a rule of thumb I never ever really buy an unmarked piece from a Boot Sale unless I really want and like it for my own enjoyment. It is very difficult indeed to identify things for certain by style alone.

It probably original came from TK Maxx or the like and so has no "collector" value but it looks absolutely fine and if you like it and use it then it was definitely worth buying.
