Mirek Smisek, New Zealand Empty Mirek Smisek, New Zealand

Tankard by New Zealand potter Mirek Smisek who trained at St Ives in 1963-64 and made his own pots after hours. This mark dates to 1963-68 and is very Leach-like but just has the MS mark probably an ‘after hours’ piece.
