Studio Pottery bowl, copper fumed raku, MC mark - probably Margaret Curtis

I picked this up today in a charity shop. looks very Lucie Rie. M C mark to the base, please put a name to it. more pics to follow.

The ones I have seen by Margaret Curtis have the letters joined. These are separate. It's a very interesting piece, craze gloss glaze in the bottom. A snip at £1.50!! Thanks for the name! I will have a look at her early work.

This bowl looks like raku and I wasn't aware that Margaret Curtis every made any raku work. However, she isn't someone that I know a great deal about.
