Lovely jug. Unfortunately not a mark in the British studio pottery marks book.
It might be French.
There was also Bernard Sahm who had a similar mark and potted in Australia but spent a year in the UK in the 50s. I dont know if any of his British work is available for comparison. The Aberystwyth Univ. Ceramics collection might have an example of his mark.
