Richard Bresnahan, USA
I’m a beginner when it comes to pottery and marks, so I would appreciate any help in identifying these lovely pieces.
The plate is 9 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 lbs. The largest bowl has 7 inches diameter, and the smallest ( a tea ceremony bowl?) has 5 3/4 diameter. I think it would be considered salt-glazed?
Thanks for looking!

Re: Richard Bresnahan, USA
My first thought is Japanese, although there are some Japanese-American studio potters.

I suspect Naomi's suggestion of it being an American based potter is most likely.
It isn't salt-glazed, which is usually described as an orange peel like texture.

Looks like they’ve used a Buncheong type slip for the flowers

Thank you so much, Naomi and Studio-pots, for your input. Naomi, I'm sure you're right that it's Richard Bresnahan - nice job! Many, many thanks!
