Unidentified German pot with geometric detail
Hi All,
This pot is marked GERMANY 740/73 although it's possibly 740173. The geometric pattern seems to be hand painted with a matte finish and it has an almost primitive and even native american feel. The interior is a blue-black glossy glaze. I'm curious to know if anyone is familiar with the style or maker. It is 4.5" tall x 4" wide

Vase/bowl with asymmetrical tray for ID
Hi - I've another unknown if I may?
I think it looks Italian - 1950s. It's quite small about 90mm tall, the inside of the vase/bowl has a chocolatey dark-brown finish.
Anyone?

Re: Dumler & Breiden
Vase 979 by Dümler & Breiden Germany 1950s for sure.
(The number was read wrongly as 626.)
Could we see a pic of the bowl which might be by another maker ?

The little handles on these can sometimes be found with a rope attachment through , as a hanging vase .

Bowl in green and white - marked with D & B and HOHR - numbers 1116 14
Picked up for 50p today any idea of date and what does HOHR mean.
Thanks Adam
Info from Volker:
Early 1950s, very likely post 1953 as for the gold rim
The town Höhr (with Umlaut) was and still is the heart of the Westerwald, including the town Grenzhausen , a long list of factories and potteries (1937: 56 !), which were located at Höhr-Grenzhausen,
e.g. D&B and Marzi & Remy at Höhr , Steuler, factory II at Grenzhausen
