Studio Pottery Körting Dornburg (East Germany)
The Körting studio was founded in 1920 as the pottery studio of the Bauhaus Weimar. Heiner-Hans Körting (1911-1991) rented it in 1949. He worked there with Lisa Körting and Gerda Körting. His son Ulrich still runs the studio.

Re: Studio Pottery Körting Dornburg (East Germany)
this is the Heiner Hans Körting mark
(the one pictured above by numes2 is the Gerda Körting mark she used after she left the Dornburg Pottery and worked in Saalfeld together with Karl Juetner and Gerhard Dölz)
Heiner-Hans Körting (1911-1991) worked in famous Dornburg Pottery from 1949 onwards. Körting worked there together with Gerda Körting and later with Lisa Körting. Heiner Hans Körting's son Ulrich still runs the Dornburg studio.
The Dornburg Workshop has been first run by Max Krehan and in 1920 it became the Pottery Workshop of the Bauhaus School.
Walter Gropius searched for a potter who knows the craftmanship and found in Masterpotter Krehan the perfect person and his pottery has been the best possible location just 40km away from Weimar. Max Krehan has been the "Werkmeister", Gerhard Marcks has been the "Formmeister" there.
Dornburg has been the only Bauhaus Workshop which hasn't been located in Weimar directly. Otto Lindig and Theodor Bogler worked in Dornburg and after the Bauhaus moved from Weimar to Dessau, the Dornburg Workshop has been took over by Otto Lindig and run from 1925 to 1949.
This vase is supposed to be from the 1960s and is one of the more rare pieces.
I like the crystalline glazed pieces by Heiner Hans Körting, who has been one of the most influential east german potters.
