Unfamiliar Mark on Studio Pottery Empty Unfamiliar Mark on Studio Pottery

Hi, I wondered whether anyone recognised this mark on a beautiful piece of studio pottery I have picked up this weekend. It is a large jug which is glazed to about 2/3 down.
