Old Hall Pottery - Christopher Dresser???
I know this is technically 19th century but i was wondering if anyone here has any knowledge about Christopher Dresser pottery designs?
I bought these two items from someone who said they came from a Dresser collector. The large pot has a sticker which says Old Hall. The tile is by Maw & Co.
Any information or reference sources would be much appreciated. Thanks

Re: Old Hall Pottery - Christopher Dresser???
There is no documentary evidence that he ever "worked" for Old Hall, rather they
just used some of his designs, as did other manufacturers, as facsimile
signatures have been seen, applied on some items.
The shape looks rather conventional, and is the design distinctive enough? Not sure.
There are many "loose" Dresser attributions.
There is no mention of him ever designing for Maw & Co.
