Pitcher Marked Grounger, Listings Claim Crown Devon?
Hi- I cannot verify through research that Fielding's Crown Devon actually produced these pitchers marked on bottom "Grounger" though everyone is listing them as such.
I have not found a single reference online or in a book to connect the two and I cannot find anything on "Grounger."
Can anyone help?
Thank you,
Jennifer

Although my days of knowing about this type of pottery are in the dim and distant past, I would image that "Grounger" is the shape name, even though it is an odd sounding name to give to anything.
One of our other members should be able to confirm my idea or not, should they see this.
