Re: Gouda Art Pottery & Delftware (Holland)
Many thanks to Stuart from goudadesign.co.uk for identifying it for me
"Made in Gouda by Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH).
Decor is called 'Robert'.
Date is early 1950's but before 1953.
The painter has not dated the piece - this did seem to happen on some post WW2 items.
Painted by Riet Heiboer.
Model number is 4658."
Thanks again Stuart

Bought my first piece of Gouda today.
Covered dish. I think it's the 'Floral' pattern.
Not sure what the mark under 'Holland' is.

Here's a 13" (33cm) vase I've had since the 1970s. I love it.
The base says it was made for Liberty & Co.
What can anyone tell me about it?

358 Frederik
I thought this could be Flora Keramiek, Gouda, but I couldn't find a similar item or a vase with the same dekor name. Frederik seems to be the decor name, but Flora marked their items with "Flora", too. Also, this decor isn't mentioned in the book "Flora Keramiek 1945-2000".
Update: It's from "Plateelbakkerij Tiko", Gouda, NL.

Flora Gouda 911, Faenza decor
Flora Gouda 911, Faenza decor.
14cm height, the width of the base is 8,5cm and 7 on the top.
Marked on the bottom as: Faenza, Flora Gouda, Holland, 911.

Nice pot, Pre-1914.
Liberty imported Gouda ware until the supply was disrupted by the first war. In 1919 James Plant & sons (staffs)
Made similar types of decorative wares for Liberty, though slightly cruder, which are often mistaken for Gouda.

A very pretty little set, can't say I've seen the pattern before,
but that's where the pattern name normally is on Gouda.
Maybe one of our Dutch members will have some indo.

This is a great resource, if you don't already know it. You may find your pattern there.

Mind you I've had pieces before from PZH (who made your vase) where I've never been able to find the pattern.

Re: Gouda Art Pottery & Delftware (Holland)
The pattern will be Rand and the date code denote 1926 the cross and two dots so it’s a nice set of Art Deco gouda……

There are a couple of pieces on the worthpoint site. They don't show the bottoms.
