Re: Wild Bros. (Staffs)
I think it's Wild Bros 1904-28, though this mark is not in the book.
It is shown here:

Re: Wild Bros. (Staffs)
You correct: The (CROWN CHATEAU CHINA) is a pottery marking of Wild Bros - 1904 to 1927.denbydump wrote:I think it's Wild Bros 1904-28, though this mark is not in the book.

They were china manufacturers operating out of the Edensor Crown China Works and the Salisbury Crown China Works in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. https://www.figurines-sculpture.com/pottery-marks-crown-chateau-china-wild-bros.html.

Re: Wild Bros. (Staffs)
We really need to see the pot itself. I'm guessing PRIM is the pattern name.
Don't recognise the mark offhand. Many potteries used a crown device.

Re: Wild Bros. (Staffs)
Yes, correct. It didn't help that part of the mark is missing, and it's not in either
of my reference books, though they do mention differing designs of backstamp.
Used 1904-1927.
As part of the backstamp is missing, I wonder if the name PRIM is correct, it looks
a little off-centre, so maybe missing a letter on the end? PRIME/PRIMA maybe?
