Marilyn Williams

I moved to Plumstead in S. E. London in 1993 and Marilyn Williams was a part time potter with a shed (studio) at the bottom of her garden.

The two pieces below date from the 1990s and have been in my garden ever since.

Marilyn originally became a friend of my wife and then mine. She became a member of Kent Potters and subsequently moved to Kent.

She has moved from North Kent and is now based in Walmer on the Kent coast where she continues to pot.

A large thrown stoneware shallow bowl that has been a drinking bowl for wildlife in my garden for around 25 years.


I did try and clean it!
