Studio mug Chained Monkey 1960s 1970s TR or R mark?
Earthenware. Well potted, unusual sprig medallion of chained monkey looking in mirror.
Odd design - maybe from a story?
Glaze and scroll handle looks 60s or 70s
Mark is maybe R and dots or TR.

I think it's Roger Ross-Turner, Abbotsbury. Although Christopher Russell may be possible

Thanks, Naomi. I’ve had a look at threads on the forum and stuff online ( not much either). I think it’s more likely to be the mark identified as Christopher Russell. I know it was common then but the two mugs on here by him also have scroll handles. Any thoughts on the odd design?
