I think this is a modern copy from the far east, with a simulated
Masons ironstone type mark.

I wonder when they were reproduced though as google lens isn't showing me any that are identical, and I would have expected a few to pop up if it was in the last 30 years or so.

I see quite a few jugs with willow pattern type designs and the very bluey green background glaze that doesn’t look quite right. You’re right though, they’ve been around for at least 20 or 30 years. Nearly ‘vintage’ then.

The exact same Biscuit barrel was turning up at the fairs 20 years ago.
Some were decorated with fairies, and had a fake Carlton Ware mark.
The give away was that Carlton never used the shape or pattern, but
some collectors were fooled for a while.
