I've come across these pieces before. I think they are late 20thC-early 21stC

They are eye catching. I wish I could read Japanese. I suspect the line of characters written above the flowers is a poem. Or I wonder if it's a Sake bottle

Shape would suggest a bottle .. size is 42cm a lot off Sake ( Will look in to that one ) Thanks

Traditional run of the mill sake storage/transportation jars were this size but with calligraphy only.
This is made for decorative purposes nearer to 2020 than 20th century in my opinion.
