Mug identification, HB mark
Hi folks
I bought this lovely wee mug in a charity shop in Scotland. It’s lightweight compared to others of a similar size but doesn’t seem particularly fragile. It is 9cm tall, 9cm, across at the base and 7cm across at the top. The handle is just under 4cm long. The potters mark is engraved and painted and the dark lines of the design on the mug are the same.
I’ve tried searching for the potters mark under Hb, F and J as well as doing a google image search on both the pottery mark and the mug as a whole but I’m getting nowhere. Any ideas?
