Can someone help with these cups & saucers
Hi. Hope someone can help with these cups & saucers. Found in the North West of England and after several weeks of searching I've found nothing to help id the maker or date them. The cups are triangular or square with matching saucers and there is a mark that looks like a jug on the base of each piece.
The triangular cups measure 10 cm across (widest point - end of handle to end of triangle) x 6 cm deep x 7.5 cm on each side of the triangle. The matching triangular saucer measures 10 cm along each edge. They weigh 190 gm.
The square cups measure 11 cm across (widest point - end of handle to end of square) x 6 cm deep x 6.5 cm on each side of the square, The matching saucer measures 9.5 cm on each side. They weigh almost 240 gm.
Any help would be much appreciated.
